Season: first Saturday of October

Day 1
Meet at the airport. Hotel accommodation city tour visit Matenadaran-manuscript museum (where there are more than 17,000 ancient books). Visit Armenian brandy factory, where you will know about the preparation and reservation of cognac, taste different cognac. Overnight in Yerevan

Day 2
Transfer Vayoz dzor, which is famous with its wine-making, visit Noravank Monastery ( 12-13c.), then take part in wine festival in Areni village.During the festival you can see Armenian old traditional games, songs, dances, and of course wine making. It is a big festival for these village, they have prepared for it in the whole year. Villagers are selling different things which they have made specially for this event. You can taste different wines-home-made, factory wine, different fruits and try to study Armenian dances. This festival starts from the morning and continue late evening. After the festival return to Yerevan.

Day 3
Drive to Garni pagan temple (1st c.), then visit Geghard monastery, ( Ayrivank -cave monastery 10-13c.), both are in UNESCO World Heritage List, and continue to Sevan Lake, which is 1900m high from sea level, visit Sevanavank (9-10c.). Return to Yerevan.

Day 4
Drive to Vagharshapat, visit Echmiadzin Cathedral (4th c.) the seat of the Catholicos of all Armenians, the Holy center of Armenian Christianity, St. Hripsime church (7th c.) both are included in UNESCO World Heritage List. Then continue to Ashtarak city, where you enjoy Armenian traditional songs and dances performed by Tonatsuyts Folk Theater and they explain about wine festival, it`s history. Return to Yerevan
